My Story
As soon as I started working in the events industry, I knew I’d found my happy place, as I quickly discovered a real passion for designing and organising events.
After seven years planning private and corporate events for a range of companies, I was ready to go solo with my own business and launched LBC Weddings and Events in 2020.
Since then I’ve had the privilege of working on so many amazing weddings, events and parties – sometimes I have to pinch myself that this is actually my job. I love the fast-paced wedding season buzz as it really suits my fun and spontaneous side. This is perfectly balanced out with my logistical and detail-driven nature (I adore a good spreadsheet) – the ideal combination for a wedding planner and stylist!
My other passion is travel, which luckily goes hand-in-hand with destination weddings. I spent six months travelling South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand, and love to visit new places, exploring world cultures and finding unforgettable venues along the way. Nerja in Spain is one of my absolute favourite places, and the Greek Islands is next on my wishlist to explore – preferably in full sunshine and accompanied by a cold glass of rosé. My favourite spots in the UK are the gorgeous city of Cambridge and the perfect blend of sea and countryside you find in Devon. Spending time with my family and friends is hugely important to me, preferably at the beach, chatting over a tasty brunch or enjoying a dog walk. I love learning about and exploring spirituality, and my Friday evening ritual is a swim and steam at the gym followed by a chilled movie night with my boyfriend.

Being involved in someone’s wedding or important life event is a huge honour, and you can guarantee that I’ll treat your celebration with the utmost respect and consideration – as well as making sure it’s a lot of fun!

Lauren obviously has a lot of knowledge and experience in wedding planning but what I liked most about working with her is how she guided me along the way, even when I hired her only as an on-the-day coordinator. I was overwhelmed at times planning for our big day, looking for the right suppliers but I never felt alone. I knew I could count on her. And she was right -- I didn't have to worry about a thing during our wedding! I had lots of fun and our guests thought we had a beautiful celebration.
