Back in November, I took a solo business trip to expand my knowledge of incredible wedding venues in Marbella, Spain and I have never felt so inspired! The weather was still beautiful, with the beaches being slightly quieter and the locals strolling the streets again. During this short but sweet trip, I visited two perfectly located venues. If you are exploring Spanish Wedding locations then these are two you don’t want to miss.
Finca la Concepción
Finca la Concepcion is the first foundry to ever exist in Spain, so if you are looking for a historic place to enjoy your wedding day then you won’t be disappointed. You can even get married within the remains and be surrounded by the magnificent setting. Alternatively, you have the stunning gardens landscaped with ancient palm trees and tropical plants, they even have an outdoor pool to create your unique party! In fact, you have the choice of all of these ceremony spaces: El Cenador, La Fundicion, El Portico de la Capilla.
The venue can not only hold 1,000 guests but is also the perfect location for smaller intimate weddings. With multiple ceremonies and dining spaces, you can create the venue to fit you and your wedding plans. Finca la Concepcion is also surrounded by the Spanish mountains and is only a 10 minute drive from the hustle and bustle of Puerto Banus, meaning your guests have plenty of choices of accommodation! Finca la Concepcion also has a villa very close by that can hold your closest family members and is the perfect place for you and your bridesmaid to prepare for your big day!
By bringing your tables around the palm trees you can’t create a more Spanish day and by keeping the styling simple and elegant this will really allow the natural beauty to come to life. I would recommend adding plenty of festoon lighting to bring the space alive in the evening, and invest in a band to help your guests party the night away! You could even choose to cover the pool and have a reception area or make this a feature with lots of candles and floating flowers.
Finca Amalur
If you are looking for a sea view venue then look no further, Finca Amalur is the venue for you! Amalur is located in Andalucia on the blue line of the Mediterranean Sea and is a new and creative place for you to celebrate your wedding day! The venue has a capacity of 450 guests and has both a ceremony and dining area.
The beautifully landscaped gardens are a dreamy location for your ceremony and the venue is located only 10 minutes from the city centre. I would imagine the gardens being used for your sunset ceremony overlooking the stunning views, you really can't create a more charming atmosphere.
